CHRIS BOLINT

Chris Bolint is an instrumental hard rock guitarist from the Chicago Area USA. Having released his debut album, Embers Alive, in early 2015, the 30 year old former Berklee College of Music student has since garnered both regional and national praise for it. His music is a blend of hard, progressive, & virtuosic rock, with hints of classical and has been said to be both melodic and moving by audiences. Bolint has been held akin to guitar greats such as, Joe Satriani and Joe Bonamassa, and knows how to deliver the musical goods. Chris’s nine song self released debut solo album, Embers Alive, was recorded around the Chicago, IL area and released in Spring 2015. A true solo effort, Chris wrote nearly every piece of music including the drums, played all guitar & bass, and Co-Produced it along with Producer Wes Koz (Plain White T’s). Over the last year he has gained fans and sold albums worldwide, as well as getting the attention of Guitar World and Relix Magazines, who have both featured his music to their readers. Also, to Chris’s excitement this past year his song “Forge The Dream” won for best instrumental in the American Songwriting Awards. Appearances on Chicago’s WGN Radio had him spreading his music throughout the midwest, while having his album played on over 100 different radio stations nationwide had him spreading his music across the country. To top it all off, Chris also had the pleasure of opening for bass legend Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai) at Chicago’s famed rock club Reggies. Chris is already in the works of putting together another full length album for his sophomore effort. All the while still stoking the Embers… with his debut release by consistently gaining and engaging new fans during live shows and on his online social media sites. Hailed by WGN Radio’s Nick Digilio to be “Bringing back the rock instrumental”, Chris plans to keep rock music alive for a new generation.
